Cover Reveal: More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera

More Happy Than Not by Adam Silvera
Release Date: June 16th, 2015
Publisher: Soho Teen
More Happy Than Not

Goodreads Summary:
Pitched as a YA Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Happiness shouldn't be this hard…

When it first gets announced, the Leteo Institute's memory-alteration procedure seems too good to be true to Aaron Soto – miracle cure-alls don't tend to pop up in the Bronx projects. Aaron can't forget how he’s grown up poor, how his friends all seem to shrug him off, and how his father committed suicide in their one bedroom apartment. He has the support of his patient girlfriend, if not necessarily his distant brother and overworked mother, but it’s not enough.

Then Thomas shows up. He doesn't mind Aaron's obsession over the Scorpius Hawthorne books and has a sweet movie set-up on his roof. There are nicknames. Aaron’s not only able to be himself, but happiness feels easy with Thomas. The love Aaron discovers may cost him what's left of his life, but since Aaron can't suddenly stop being gay Leteo may be the only way out…

Oh man I haven't done a cover reveal for just one book in such a long time....
Anywhoooo there seems to be a lot of hype for Adam Silvera's new release and I'm quite
excited to read it once it releases :)

Review: The Girl Who Never Was by Skylar Dorset

The Girl Who Never Was (Otherworld, #1)The Girl Who Never Was by Skylar Dorset
304 Pages
Release Date: June 1st, 2014
Publisher: Sourcebooks Fire
Genre: Paranormal/Fantasy
Level: YA
Rating: 4.6 STARS

Goodreads Summary:

THE GIRL WHO NEVER WAS is the story of Selkie Stewart, who thinks she’s a totally normal teenager growing up in Boston. Sure, her father is in an insane asylum, her mother left her on his doorstep—literally—when she was a baby, and she’s being raised by two ancient aunts who spend their time hunting gnomes in their Beacon Hill townhouse. But other than that her life is totally normal! She’s got an adventurous best friend who’s always got her back and an unrequited crush on an older boy named Ben. Just like any other teenager, right?

When Selkie goes in search of the mother she’s never known, she gets more than she bargained for. It turns out that her mother is faerie royalty, which would make Selkie a faerie princess—except for the part where her father is an ogre, which makes her only half of anything. Even more confusing, there’s a prophecy that Selkie is going to destroy the tyrannical Seelie Court, which is why her mother actually wants to kill her. Selkie has been kept hidden all her life by her adoring aunts, with the help of a Salem wizard named Will. And Ben. Because the boy she thinks she’s in love with turns out to be a faerie whose enchantment has kept her alive, but also kept her in the dark about her own life.

Now, with enchantments dissolved and prophecies swinging into action, Selkie finds herself on a series of mad quests to save the people she’s always loved and a life she’s learning to love. But in a supernatural world of increasingly complex alliances and distressingly complicated deceptions, it’s so hard to know who to trust. Does her mother really wish to kill her? Would Will sacrifice her for the sake of the prophecy? And does Ben really love her or is it all an elaborate ruse? In order to survive, Selkie realizes that the key is learning—and accepting—who she really is.

Back to School: Junior Year

Why yes its that time of the year when school begins and we're enveloped
with AP classes, SATs, and extracurricular activities. We start junior year today
which is the most important year in high school that's a big determinant for college so we'll be really busy this year with all our school work. Thus, it'll be hard to have regular posts. We will of course do our best to stay up to date with reviews and cover reveals. This is just a heads up to not expect as much from us and that we really appreciate your support.

Thanks and much love,

She’d give almost anything to be free of the golden shackles that bind her to Malek, her handsome, cruel master, and his lavish Hollywood lifestyle.

Enter Raif, the enigmatic leader of Arjinna’s revolution and Nalia’s sworn enemy. He promises to free Nalia from her master so that she can return to her ravaged homeland and free her imprisoned brother—all for an unbearably high price. There’s just one catch: for Raif’s unbinding magic to work, Nalia must gain possession of her bottle…and convince the dangerously persuasive Malek that she truly loves him. Battling a dark past and harboring a terrible secret, Nalia soon realizes her freedom may come at a price too terrible to pay: but how far is she willing to go for it?

Hiatus!

Quick note! We're going to be going on an hiatus for a week until next Wednesday. I've barely had any time to write any reviews/posts with going to Elite and school homework. Luckily, Elite's ending on the 7th and my homework's due by the 11th so I should be able to have more time after that to catch up on all the posts I have to write. Sorry if all the posts have been lacking and sporadic. Thank you! Happy Readings!

Let's Get Lost
Release Date: 07/29/14
Harlequin Teen

Summary from Goodreads:
Five strangers. Countless adventures. One epic way to get lost.

Four teens across the country have only one thing in common: a girl named LEILA. She crashes into their lives in her absurdly red car at the moment they need someone the most.

There's HUDSON, a small-town mechanic who is willing to throw away his dreams for true love. And BREE, a runaway who seizes every Tuesday—and a few stolen goods along the way. ELLIOT believes in happy endings…until his own life goes off-script. And SONIA worries that when she lost her boyfriend, she also lost the ability to love.

Hudson, Bree, Elliot and Sonia find a friend in Leila. And when Leila leaves them, their lives are forever changed. But it is during Leila's own 4,268-mile journey that she discovers the most important truth— sometimes, what you need most is right where you started. And maybe the only way to find what you're looking for is to get lost along the way.
