Goodreads Summary:
There is need. And then there is Fate...
Being destined to become some kind of supernatural electrical outlet isn't exactly awesome--especially when Alexandria's "other half" is everywhere she goes. Seth's in her training room, outside her classes, and keeps showing up in her bedroom--so not cool. Their connection does have some benefits, like staving off her nightmares of the tragic showdown with her mother, but it has no effect on what Alex feels for the forbidden, pure-blooded Aiden. Or what he will do--and sacrifice--for her.
When daimons infiltrate the Covenants and attack students, the gods send furies--lesser gods determined to eradicate any threat to the Covenants and to the gods, and that includes the Apollyon... and Alex. And if that and hordes of aether-sucking monsters didn't blow bad enough, a mysterious threat seems willing to do anything to neutralize Seth, even if that means forcing Alex into servitude... or killing her.
When the gods are involved, some decisions can never, ever be undone.

MY THOUGHTS;
        Pure had one of the most brilliant plot I've read!! So many twists and turns filled with action and mysterious aura. It had me entertained throughout the entire time I read it! We see more of Seth, one where he's more sweet/soft but don't worry he's still the cocky, arrogant guy as before. He really does kknow how to lighten the situation and helps Alex after something traumatic happens. And of course, there is jealousy between Aiden and Seth...Speaking of Aiden, he really does manages to capture you hearts. Oh you'll just love "Zoo Scene"!! It's too cute and adorable!!!

       Alex is the fighter as she's always been and I really admire her for that. It's just that I felt her character felt kinda off and I don't know changed her somehow tat got me annoyed with her. Like at the end...but that might've just been me. Anyways, any J.L.A or Covenant fan will just love this book. But know that while it may be an awesome, kickbutt, fighting/finding bad guys, romantic book, there will be tragedy, as I hinted before and your heart will tug for Alex....J.L.A never fails to impress me!

“Ever since I’ve met you, I’ve wanted to break every rule.” Aiden turned away, the muscles in his neck tensing. He sighed. “You’ll become the center of someone’s world one day. And he’ll be the luckiest son of a b*tch on this earth.” – Aiden

Goodreads Summary:

The last thing Dawson Black expected was Bethany Williams. As a Luxen, an alien life form on Earth, human girls are…well, fun. But since the Luxen have to keep their true identities a secret, falling for one would be insane.

Dangerous. Tempting. Undeniable.

Bethany can’t deny the immediate connection between her and Dawson. And even though boys aren’t a complication she wants, she can’t stay away from him. Still, whenever they lock eyes, she’s drawn in.

Captivated. Lured. Loved.

Dawson is keeping a secret that will change her existence...and put her life in jeopardy. But even he can’t stop risking everything for one human girl. Or from a fate that is as unavoidable as love itself.

MY THOUGHTS:
        When this  book was released, I decided to hold it off till later since it was based on Dawson not Daemon no offense Dawson and I soooo regret now reading it earlier. I read the first chapter and sat down eyes glued to the page, and read and read and read until the tears were starting to prick in my eyes. This book is one heck of a romance and alien mojo problems. Dawson is waaaaayy different than Daemon, care-free, easy going, and sweet. Who wouldn't love that?? Although Daemon was totally against Dawson and Bethany's relationship and being the one minute older brother he was, it created other problems with Andrew and Ash; Daemon may seem like a jerk face *swoon worthy of course but he really cares for his brother and sister and even though they might have the urge to rip someone's head out, they always have one another's backs. Enough about Daemon I'm guessing your thinking about Bethany...She is just the perfect girl for Dawson! Sweet, artistic, keeping to herself, brave, and thoughtful, she's the girl a guy's mom would be smiling and laughing around all the time. I seriously encourage to read it if you havent already because this unlocks a secret that might change everything in the upcoming books.
