XD AGREED! I love how Vane is till Vane with his witty remarks and teenage mind that doesn't really fit well with the Gales and the other slyphs :P

Have I ever mentioned how much I love their names? Vane and Audra...they just fit so well. I love Vane. He totally stays true to himself and doesn't change even though he's king and Audra is not around

Yup he's actually one of the most normal guys (personality wise and if you ignore him being a sylph and all that stuff :P) I've read about in YA

He's a really cool main character and I almost always support every decision he makes

RIGHT SHE'S SUCH A BITCH ALL OF THEIR PROBLEMS STEM FROM HER!!!!!!!!! (well I mean and Raiden) And I hate how Os is slowly becoming him. Its like, whats the point in fighting Raiden if you're just going to become him

But I totally get why he's like that (plot/story/writing wise) as much as I dislike him as a character...

She's just meeeeeh. I don't dislike or like. Just a character that's there. I mean she isn't really annoying, just a girl who's hopes and dreams got ruined. As long as shed doesn't flirt or try to get together with Vane, she's ok

But she's so irritatingly passive. It pisses me off that all her hopes and dreams are Vane and when she doesn't get them she pouts and sulks and is sad when she should be independent and strong. Like Audra and be like "Kiss my ass, I don't need no man. I'm the princess and I will do what it want."

But at the same time she has a whole different personality and raised differently. I won't judge unless she gives me a reason to. But I see your perspective on her

It also irritates me that every one puts all their hope in Vane. I mean, he's one person

YES. YES. YES. Like seriously?! Sure he may be a big part in helping them, but he's not EVERYTHING. You can't expect hi m to.

And its because he's a Westerly. I mean seriously. Everyone knows Westerlies aren't good fighters so why the fuck do they expect him to be? It goes against his vey nature

AND THEY NEVER GIVE AUDRA A BREAK!!!!!! I MEAN FOR GODS SAKE SHE THOUGHT SHE KILLED HIS PARENTS AND HER DAD BUT IT WAS REALLY HER MOM AND SHE DOEN'T KNOW HOW TO LIVE A LIFE OUTSIDE OF PROTECTING HIM!!!!!!!!!!

And she's done A LOT more than them. She's sacrificed so much and she still gets the blame

D: D: I hate that she had to sacrifice the bond and the Westerly language. I love that Vane doesn't break down and prepares himself and has hope and he's just been through so much

Yeah, I love that he understands her so well and knows she would never give up the bond unless it was to protect him and her people

And then there was the...HABOOB. God I laughed so far reading that scene
