Hello lovelies! So Caitlyn and I went to the LA Times Festival of Books on Saturday and had so much fun! We directly headed to the YA stage but got detoured with some of the book booths. And Summit was giving away free Now You See Me and Ender's Game movie posters and Ender's Game pins which I grabbed to give it to a friend of mine. But the exciting part was that they were also making/giving out Ender's Game AND Divergent t-shirts for free as well!!!
Since there was time before the Young Adult Fiction: So Much For Normal panel featuring Tahereh Mafi, Kiersten White, Rachel Cohn, and Michelle Gagnon to start Caitlyn and I headed towads Ms.Nelson's booth were I FINALLY got the chance to buy Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi and Caitlyn bought Pandemonium by Lauren Oliver. We checked out the other book booths near the area and headed back to the YA Stage and the books they were featuring next to the stage where Caitlyn bought her copy of Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi (she didn't find it in the first booth).
Then the authors came and we sat under the blazing hot sun as the authors gave a general description of their books and read a brief part of their books. They talked out their writing process, trilogies, characters, and the world building of their stories. Seeing the signing line starting we went to wait with our books. I brought Shatter Me and Unravel Me for Tahereh Mafi to sign and I may have printed my Unravel Me review on blue paper b/c I'm weird like that and Caitlyn brought her Nook and Unravel Me for Tahereh to sign as well.

Kiersten white was hilarious as well and I look forward to reading Rachel Cohn's and Michelle Gagnon's books!!! Tahereh Mafi is the sweetest thing ever and it was awesome having her sign out books!!
