Goodreads Summary:

Dragged on a family trip to Europe’s ancient cities, Becca wants nothing more than to go home. Trapped with her emotionally distant father, over-eager stepmother, and a brother who only wants to hook up with European hotties, Becca is miserable. That is until she meets Nikolai, a guy as mysterious as he is handsome. And she unknowingly finds herself with a runaway prince.

Nikolai has everything a guy could ask for-he's crown prince, heir to the throne, and girls adore him. But the one thing he doesn't have...is freedom. Staging a coup, he flees his kingdom and goes undercover on his own European tour.

When Nikolai and Becca meet, it’s their differences that draw them together. Sparks fly as they share a whirlwind of adventures, all the while dodging his royal guard. But Becca's family vacation ends in a matter of days. Will Nikolai and Becca be forced to say goodbye forever, will his destiny catch up to him, or will they change history forever?

MY THOUGHTS:

(Forgive me for this, I read this book...a while ago and while I really, really liked it I kiiiiinda forget some of the finer details of this book) This book, was awesome. It is basically a summer road trip/journey to Europe/breaking out of your shell story. Royally Lost is really fast paced and a great, easy, feel good book. Nikolai's whole situation adds a whole new spin to the traditional way these books go. I was always really impressed by the ways they kept running into each other without ever really planning. It really just seemed like the world wanted Becca and Nikolai to be together, at least for a little while. The characters were really dynamic and cool and I have nothing else to add except that I would totally read more books by Angie Stanton. In fact if I had the time I will probably reread this at some point.

MOVING ON! Becca was really relatable to me. She really is a normal girl and thats part of why she's so interesting and why this book works so well. Although she is directionally challenged she feels like an average teenage girl and it makes Royally Lost seem less like pure fiction and like it could actually happen to anyone. Which is awesome. And, I don't know, I just really love her reactions to things. Like when she finds out Nikolai is a prince, I could totally relate to how she felt. I don't really know what else to tell you about her except that she's really cool and just, the bomb. OH! And her relationship with her brother is the best XD!

Now Nikolai. His situation is...interesting. I love how right at the beginning (in the first chapter if I remember correctly) he manages to get away from his over bearing, stuck in the past, parents and be a free rebellious teenager. OH I REMEMBERED ANOTHER THING I LOVE ABOUT BECCA!!!! She seems like this totally sweet, good girl but she gets so rebellious and its just awesome!!!!! Back to Nikolai, he is so amazing. Seriously at one point he does this thing with the boat and you're just like *swoon* I just really love how he deals with his problems and he's really cool, and if I'm not mistaken really hot. That's always nice. Its also really interesting to see how they deal with keeping out of the press because he is *dramatically pauses* a prince. Oh! And he doesn't act like a stuck up spoiled prince he really is a normal, all be it hounded by the media, guy.

Sorry this is so vague and all over the place!! It really is a good book and you should totally pick it up and look at it!! From what I remember its really awesome!!! There's this thing on the beach and... I'M STOPPING NOW! Seriously though, Royally Lost is worth the read. Byyyeeeeee.
