Coreen Callahan

                               ›Amazon | Facebook | Twitter | Goodreads | Website

Biography

As the only girl on all guys hockey teams from age six through her college years, Coreene Callahan knows a thing or two about tough guys and loves to write about them. Call it kismet. Call it payback after years of locker room talk and ice rink antics, but whatever you call it, the action better be heart stopping, the magic electric, and the story wicked, good fun.

After graduating with honors in psychology and working as an interior designer, she finally succumbed to her overactive imagination and returned to her first love: writing. And when she's not writing, she's dreaming of magical worlds full of dragon-shifters, elite assassins, and romance that's too hot to handle. Callahan currently lives in Canada with her family and writing buddy, a fun-loving golden retriever.

About the Book

Warrior's Revenge Sometimes the only way to love and redemption is to make a deal with the devil. After the death of her parents, Lady Aurora de Marquise is left with no illusions. Stripped of her birthright and betrayed by her uncle, escape is her only option. With her life on the line, she narrowly avoids another murder attempt ? only to run headlong into Lord Brigham de Mornay, a man most consider a monster. With her uncle's henchmen nipping at her heels, Aurora knows better than to trust a stranger ? especially one as compelling as Brigham. Well-honed instincts urge her to flee before his abundant charm takes a nasty turn into aggression ? and she ends up neck deep in trouble. Wary, but undeniably drawn to him, Aurora pits her will against his, challenging his authority every chance she gets. But when her uncle manages to track her, she is left with the ultimate choice ? surrender to the man who now holds her heart or risk it all trying to escape again. Gritty and fast-paced, Warrior's Revenge brings to life the magnificence of the medieval age while exploring the meaning of honor, duty, and nature of true love.

My Review 4 Stars Worth the Read

Well this one was great!  I think that the characters did need a little more depth.  But, it was still worth the read.  The story/plot was great from page one to the last one in the book.

JP Summers

                               ›Amazon | Facebook | Twitter | Goodreads | Website

Biography

JP Summers is a Native Texan who resides on a 140 acre farm in northern Wisconsin with her husband and their children. She is a self-published author who loves chocolate and crushing over fictional men that are so unbelievably smoldering, you swear the pages could actually go up in flames while reading the book.

This past year she became an advocate for migraines and headache disorders after being diagnosed with chronic migraines and cluster headaches. Despite how disabling her condition can be at times, she has several books lined up to be published in 2014.

JP has appeared on HuffPost Live with Nancy Redd and Al Jazeera to discuss living with her headache disorders. This past February she attended Headache On The Hill in Washington D.C to advocate with others who are just as passionate about raising migraine/headache awareness.

She also started her first headache disorder campaign, Stop the Stigma,in June 2014 to educate others about migraines and cluster headaches; a genetic disorder that affects millions of Americans and there is currently no cure for it.

About the Book

As Tia Deltoro’s 23rd birthday approaches, she looks forward to meeting up with her old high school friends and hitting the ski slopes. What was supposed to be a relaxing weekend getaway, staying in a beautiful cottage overlooking the mountains, turns out to be a hellish nightmare when Tia unmistakably recognizes the person delivering their firewood.

It has been five years since Tia graduated from New Holston High, yet she remains emotionally shackled to her past, or more specifically ex-best friend Carson Rodriguez, the man holding the bundle of firewood. When he accuses Tia for setting up their chance meeting she fires back running him off. Unfortunately for these two former friends, Mother Nature decides to show them an intervention they’ll never forget! The drastic shift in weather conditions causes Carson to return and wait out the horrific weather conditions in the confinements of the cottage with Tia.

While the storm rages outside, the two distance themselves to opposite sides of the living room for their own protection. Tia keeps herself distracted by looking at the old high school yearbooks that were packed in preparation for planning the upcoming reunion. Through a series of flashbacks, the memories come flooding back. She can't help but wonder how things could have gone differently if her ex-boyfriend Evan didn’t always lure her back into his corrupting grasp or Carson’s on-again-off-again girlfriend Erin hadn't been so conniving.

In the end all of the jealousy, secrets, and lies ultimately severed the ties that held their four year friendship together.

With the strong winds from this blizzard of mass destruction leveling their only means of shelter one window and roof tile at a time, only one question remains...will Tia and Carson be able to put aside their anger towards each other long enough to survive another storm?
