New feature! We came up with a monthly post in which we pick a genre of a book we really want to read and do different posts on it through out the month. This specific one is out Crossover Edition (Our rules are below) If anyone decides to also do the same please link back to this blog!
RULES: 1) Characters can't be from the same genre.
2) Choose 4-6 random books (from different genres) and take a few of the main characters.
3) Comment how you think they would react to one world (or book).
4) Try not to use the same characters for other Crossover editions.
Everblaze (Keeper of the Lost Cities #3) by Shannon Messenger
Goodreads Summary:
Sophie Foster is ready to fight back.
Her talents are getting stronger, and with the elusive Black Swan group ignoring her calls for help, she’s determined to find her kidnappers—before they come after her again.
But a daring mistake leaves her world teetering on the edge of war, and causes many to fear that she has finally gone too far. And the deeper Sophie searches, the farther the conspiracy stretches, proving that her most dangerous enemy might be closer than she realizes.
In this nail-biting third book in the Keeper of the Lost Cities series, Sophie must fight the flames of rebellion, before they destroy everyone and everything she loves.
~Crossover Edition~
Paranormal:Bloodlines by Richelle Mead
Sydney- So we think Sydney would love learning about the scientific(ish)ness and the powers and could possibly adjust because she's started mastered some spells of her own.
Adrian- He would just swagger his way through a basically be a hotter, older version of Keefe :P
Dystopian:
Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
Warner- We can feel the indifference oozing from Warner.
Juliette- She would feel so out of her depth but could probably adjust well enough since she does have powers.
Kenji- Kenji would chill and love it all and in the process win everyone's love and affections.
Contemporary:
Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry
Echo- Echo was a big no. We don't think she would be able to deal especially with her past and couldn't trust people as easily as she could in the normal world.
Noah- Noah would just not feel the need to adapt although his brothers would totally fit in and have fun :P
Sci-fi:
These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner
Tarver- We think that Tarver wouldn't necessarily like it but he would definitely be that person that's in the know of all everything that goes on.
Lilac- Oddly enough, we actually believe that Lilac would be pretty comfortable in a world as such.
Mythology:
Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan
Percy & Annabeth- Out of everyone in this post, these two would fit perfectly in this world. They're already used to powers, groups of people, cute (but not so normal) animal, AND IT JUST ALL WORKS OUT!
How do you think these characters would react to Sophie's world?
Let us know in the comments below! Hope you enjoyed this post!
